We’ll meet at the Totem pole and leave promptly at 9:00 a.m. We'll stop briefly at Queen's Landing at 9:30 a.m. to pick up riders there.
43 miles round trip - Sun., August 3rd
Join the Windy City Cycling Club for 43 miles of fun. Avg. speed of ride leader (excluding stops) will be 14-16 mph.
All riders of all paces welcome and detailed cue sheet provided.
We’ll meet at the Totem pole and leave promptly at 9:00 am following the LSD bike path all the way south.  We'll stop briefly at Queen's Landing (east of bike path at Buckingham Fountain) at 9:30 am to pick up any riders there.  We’ll pass by the Chicago Velodrome (www.chicagovelocampus.com) and may stop briefly if any racers are riding in circles.  Continuing on to our final destination at 106th St. and the IL-IN state line, one can pose for a picture at the “Welcome to Indiana” sign and/or stop at McDonald’s for a brief pit stop or snack. There's also a Subway, KFC, and Burger King.
Ride will be cancelled/postponed if high chance of rain.
